Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB):
Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Information, Govt. of Bangladesh, regulating the public exhibition of films under the provisions of the Films ACT 1963 – Act No. XVIII of 1963 – amended by President's Order No 41 of 1972. BFCB is the prime body for examining and certifying films for public exhibition. Films can be publicly exhibited in the Country only after they have been certified by the Bangladesh Film Censor Board. The Board is chiefly responsible for the censorship of movies which are produced for exhibition particularly in the public places of Bangladesh.
