Bangladesh Journalists Rights Forum (BJRF):

The Bangladesh Journalists Rights Forum (BJRF) is a Government registered non-profit and non-partisan Journalists’ organization in Bangladesh. BJRF was established in the year 2002 mainly with a view to protecting Journalists’ rights, and providing them various supports in Bangladesh. It is also working for professional developing of Journalism, and creating unity among Journalists. During its initiation, Journalist Habibur Rahman was its Chairman; and since its formation Journalist Ataur Rahman has been its General Secretary. Currently, BJRF’s president is Journalists Khairuzzaman Kamal.

The Bangladesh Journalists Rights Forum (BJRF) is currently promoting its activities through education, training & publications; conducting research & study; building a data bank on Journalism statistics; campaigning support; organizing workshops, seminars, meetings, discussions, etc. on Journalism related issues; and creating linkage with national and international organizations & institutes having same interest.

Membership at BJRF is open for all who are engaged in profession of journalism and its related associations, organizations, trade unions, clubs, and forums, employed by any newspaper and news agency.
