Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF):

Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) was established on January 10, 1991 as a media community organization in Bangladesh working chiefly on Press Freedom, Media Development, Human Rights, Information and communication technologies for development (ICT4D), HIV/AIDS Prevention, Governances, Education and Health issues. BMSF was registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare, under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh, on March 7, 1995.

The objectives of Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum are to mobilize the journalistsí community, those working in the national, local print & electronic media, involve with freelance journalism and human rights campaign to facilitate their participation in the national development program activities.

BMSF has a seven-member elected Executive Committee and twenty-one General Committee. The members of Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) are generally connected with the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ), Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ), National and Divisional Press Clubs, and the associations related to journalism in the country.
