Channel i is an acclaimed television network in Bangladesh. It was launched on 1st October 1999. Channel i is owned by Impress Group. It has accredited as the first digital Bangla channel. The slogan of this channel is "Hridoya Bangladesh" (Bangladesh in it's heart). Currently, Channel i is available in more than 84 countries including Pan-Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and USA. It mainly broadcasts drama, news, songs, live talk show, educational, entertainment, agriculture and other special programmes. The popular “Lux Channel i Super Star” programme is also broadcast in this channel. Channel i is very popular to the Bangla speaking people all over the world.
